Therapy
“It’s the relationship that heals”
Irvin D. Yalom
How will we work together?
You might come to me because of relationship issues, anxiety, work challenges, low self-esteem, bereavement or past traumas – these can feel like daunting problems, but I’ve helped people get to grips with them all. I’m an integrative counsellor – which means I’m trained in multiple types of therapy, and together we can find the style which suits you best.
Above all, it works because of the relationship we build. By creating a safe, supportive space to uncover and process emotions, we can work our way through them and reduce their impact on your life.
I have experience of working with people from varied cultural and social backgrounds, neurodivergent people and LGBTQ+ people, and I’m proud to call myself an ally. I believe in empowering you to be yourself, to grow and develop, and live as who you truly are. After working with me, clients say they feel seen, heard, connected, released, clearer, stronger and more confident in themselves.

Counselling options
I work from the Whiteladies Therapy Rooms in Redland/Clifton, and from The Practice Rooms in Cotham, Westbury, Queen Square, Southville and Stokes Croft.
Sitting still in a counselling room does not suit everybody. Some clients want to sit alongside me instead of opposite, or move about a bit during sessions, or lie down. That’s all absolutely fine. If it works for you, it works for me.
Sometimes I also work with clients experientially or creatively to help unlock emotions, or process things which cannot be accessed by talking alone. This is not a standalone therapy, and can be integrated into our work together as required.
I also offer counselling by phone or video call. Your counselling can be delivered exclusively in this way, or we could do a mix of in-person and remote working.
Fees
The initial consultation online or on the phone is free.
Each therapy session is 50 minutes long and costs £60.
I can also offer a limited number clients reduced fees,
if you are on a low income please ask me about this.
